Distributed Full-Stack Web Application for Time-Series Analysis

Empower
Growth

This project involved the development and deployment of a full-stack web application for executing analysis jobs on time-series data in a high-performance computing (HPC) environment. The application was containerized using Docker and deployed alongside supporting microservices on a Kubernetes-based cluster at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC).

Infectious Disease Simulation Study: Object-Oriented Programming in C++

The purpose of the Infectious Disease Simulation Project was to achieve an understanding of how an infection propagates through a population by running simulations under a variety of different conditions using object-oriented programming constructs in C++. The effect that varying a combination of vaccination rate, infection rate, method of contact had on the spread of an infection over fixed population sizes was an important objective in the study.  In addition, the concept of Herd Immunity, a condition where healthy and unvaccinated members of a population avoid contracting the disease during its progression, was studied.
