Hello, I'm a technical professional supporting KBR Inc. as a data science analyst. Through this position, I have leveraged skillsets in machine learning, software engineering, and project management to mine data, develop models, build and deploy applications for task automation. In this way, I have helped drive the transition from legacy Excel model development to Python/SQL workflows building ETL pipelines and modeling data to drive business value to my organization. I enjoy tackling complex projects by identifying clear problem statements and use cases, designing effective system frameworks, and applying my skill set to deliver innovative solutions.

 

I have a Computational Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin, an interdisciplinary program in computer science, statistics, and mechanical engineering. I am well-versed in a multitude of both scripting programming languages (Python, R) and compile programming languages (C++, Fortran, Java, and Swift), and have experience employing these skills for applications in applied statistics, software engineering, numerical methods, and more! I am also comfortable with using applied science software applications in Matlab for matrix computations, Docker, Kubernetes, and Version Control for CI/CD, and Redis NoSQL, MSSQL Server for database development and maintenance.

  • Supported my customer’s Cost Acquisition and Analysis Group as a cost analyst through responsibilities including data mining, validation, cost modeling, data analysis, backend software development and automation.

  • Led the development of a full-stack web application that automates the regression model development pipeline for building cost estimating relationships forecasted to bring a 75% efficiency gain to the development workflow. 

  • Achieved through utilization of a tech stack comprising Python, MSSQL Server, Docker, and AWS within a CI/CD pipeline.

  • Conducted a research study employing hypothesis testing to analyze earned value management trends in defense contract performance. This enabled the delivery of actionable insights into historical program behavior that helped senior management enhance program management and outcomes.
